Smoke Information
Elevated smoke production was once again observed due to increasing activity on Cameron Peak, Middle Fork and Mullen fires by yesterday afternoon. Today's weather should be more favorable with slightly cooler temperatures and increasing cloud cover. As a result, fire activity and smoke impacts should be moderated in comparison to the previous days events. For today, Moderate air quality is expected along the I-70 corridor from Denver to Cheyenne. The Boulder area north to Estes Park, can expect good air quality overall. While areas very close to active wildfires like Red Feather Lakes, Walden, and Laramie will experience air quality conditions in the USG to Unhealthy range once again.
