Smoke Information
Saturday west of the continental divide will see strong westerly winds ahead of an approaching cold front. The winds will cause red flag conditions which should increase fire activity. Winds along the I-25 corridor will be lighter from the southeast. The atmosphere may allow the smoke to mix down to the cities along the I-25 corridor, unlike previous days. Snow arriving late Saturday and through the day Sunday should reduce fire activity and smoke generation.
